Beyond 2012: A New Civilization

3 Day International Conference hosted by The Shen Foundation.

Bringing together some of the finest minds and hearts to discuss a new global framework, based upon new trends which will shape our future from a biological, psychological, ecological, spiritual, social, scientific and new technological point of view as we approach 2012.

Audicia has been invited to present Anna Halprin's Planetary Dance on day 2 of the conference. (Tuesday 18th May 2.30-3.30pm). The drummer for the dance will be Derek Houghton.

The Planetary Dance was conceived by Anna Halprin and community as a call to enact a ‘positive myth in dance’. It is a ritual of healing and community renewal which has now been celebrated and performed for over 30 years around the world.

Audicia will also be performing as part of the 'Rhythm and Sound Journey' featuring Crystal Singing Bowls, Gaelic Prayer Song and Dance, which takes place in the Universal Hall, Findhorn on day 1 of the conference. (Monday May 17th at 8pm)

Afterword:

The Planetary Dance was performed by around 150 delegates from around the world and was supported by the spiritual leaders Rainbow Hawk and Wind Eagle, both directors of EHAMA, and the Seed Planters Training for Peace.

Ceremonial Flags to represent the 4 directions. (Reference to the 4 directions was originally part of the week long community ritual devised by Anna in California. These flags were blessed by Rainbow Hawk and Wind Eagle and were subsequently used in a collective community peace building process and the dance itself.
