State Theta Galleries

"Art is our one true global language. It knows no nation, it favors no race, and it acknowledges no class. It speaks to our need to reveal, heal, and transform. It transcends our ordinary lives and lets us imagine what is possible." Richard Kamler

February 2011

Dear [fname],

Welcome to our February newsletter.

Some readers have asked for a reference to the photos we use. They are mostly taken by us and, if not, we are careful to credit the photographer. All images by State Theta Galleries are licensed under a Creative Commons agreement. Further information can be found at the foot of each page.

The pictures presented here feature East Lothian seascapes, Forres loch, Peace Ceremony shrine, visiting teachers and us.

In early January I was fortunate enough to be able to document the wonderful peace ceremony presented by the Shen Foundation, RainbowHawk and WindEagle. You can find out more about their work and returning visits to Scotland here >>>

Presented by Audicia Lynne Morley

These full-day workshops (10.30am-6.00pm) will use a multi-modal approach of improvised movement, creative writing, drawing/painting, aesthetic dialogue and response in order to journey through the body landscapes.
